Samsung is a well-known brand for consumer electronics and appliances and their Samsung laser printer models are no exception. 
If you are looking forward in getting an affordable laser printer without the severe lack of features or performance, a Samsung model is a good choice. 

In fact, some of the best printers around cost less than $500 while other nice models and black and white laser printers can go for $200 or less. 

In addition to them being cost-saving, many of the Samsung laser printer models are designed with compactness in mind and that includes the multi-function laser printers as well. 

Not all of the printers are speedy, but they run quiet and the color quality is decent. 

To avoid some of the drawbacks like cartridge limits, consider trying any of these good picks.

Samsung SCX-4500W

Like many of the latest Samsung products in the home theater category, the Samsung SCX-4500W is extremely sleek and looks far different than the common multi-function printers that you see lying around the office. 

It has a nice smooth black finish and weighs nearly 25 pounds which is much lighter than some of the devices weighing over 70 pounds. 

It earned a lot of recognition at one point for being the most compact multifunction printer ever created that has wireless capabilities. 

The paper capacity is a bit limited only holding 100 sheets, but the interface is completely touch driven, has nice energy saving features, and prints very quietly.

Samsung CLX-3175FW

Representing the CLX family, this multifunction Samsung laser printer aims to do more by serving as a scanner, printer, copier, and faxing machine.
It is also blank like most of its products and has a more traditional office equipment look, but still manages to be compact weighing just 42 pounds and priced similarly at around $350. 

Its performance is quite similar as well processing at 360 MHz so you can expect the speeds to be the same, but the memory is larger at 128 MB (upgradable to 384 MB) and it can hold more sheets (250 sheets). 

The printing speeds are exceptional at around 30 pages per minute and there is also no need to worry about those annoying paper jams that can interrupt your productivity especially if you need to print lots of pages quickly. 

A USB port allows flash drives to use both the printing and scanning features.

Samsung ML-2855ND

This standard Samsung laser printer is the perfect solution if you don't plan on printing photos or any other colored documents. 

Don't expect another black finished product here, but this device is much cheaper selling for under $250. 

It has an even faster 400 MHz processor and 64 MB memory which aids to the 30 pages per minute speed and duplex printing is supported as well to save more time when prints need to be made on both sides of the paper. 

Like the CLX-3175FW model, it comes with a cassette that can hold 250 sheets. A multipurpose tray can also be used to hold 50 more sheets. 

It also has a decent 1200 x 1200 dpi output and is easy to setup whether it is for home or small business usage.
